This lecture will provide an overview of similarities and differences between Progressive MS and Relapsing-Remitting MS with regard to presentation and disease mechanisms, discussing how better understanding of underlying pathology will lead to better treatments.

Jai Perumal, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology in the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine and Attending Neurologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. She is also the Director of Clinical Operations at the WCM Multiple Sclerosis Center at NYPH/WCM and the Director of Multiple Sclerosis Service at NYP Queens.
